We recently spent the afternoon exploring some of the old gold mining ruins near Cripple Creek, Victor and Goldfield, Colorado. There are some excellent trails and interpretive tours that have been funded, created and maintained by the Southern Teller County Focus Group, the Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mining Company and a grant from the State Historical Fund Grant from the Colorado Historical Society. The photographs in this set were all created using 5 bracketed images, processed in Photomatix Pro and then creating a 32 bit floating point .tiff file. Final images were then taken back to Lightroom 5. I find that this creates a more realistic image and provides for more control over the post processing. Your comments are welcome and appreciated!
