Yesterday my wife was in a great mood and liked to model. So we used the perfect weather here in Berlin to make the first outdoor shootings this year. It's the second time I using my new Canon 6D with my strobist equipment. I felt quite comfortable with it. Here is the first result. I tried this time a new photoshop technique to give the picture the last push. I hope you can enjoy the picture like I do. ;-)

Strobist info: Two Yongnuo YN560II in one 80cm Octabox without the white diffusor. The two flashes were at 1/16 power and zoomed to 24mm with the additional built-in diffusor. Triggered with Yongnuo YN622C. The Softbox was upper camera left, so the model will see direct light.

My wife helped me for a new profile picture and shot me with my camera. ;-) Since last year cycling became a big hobby of me and I want a picture of me in my daily outfit.

Strobist info: 3x Yongnuo YN560III --> one speedlight @ 1/32 power in a 105cm reflective parabolic umbrella camera left from above and one silver reflector from bottom. Two selfmade striplights each with one YN560III @ 1/2 power left and right behind the subject. Triggered with the YN560TX.

Last sunday we planned to go to a lake and take some photos. But the weather was against us and we had to improve. While the rain clouds passed and the sun was shining through I took this picture. Again my great wife is the model and my friend Benedikt helped me with the light source.

This picture was taken after sunset in the shadow of a tree. So this time there is just soft light.

Strobist info: One large 7' PLM with four YN560III triggered by an YN560-TX. The light stand with the modifier was about 2-3m away from the model and 45° camera left.

Post processing done in Photoshop.
