This is from last night. In this image, these 3 young barn owls have been waiting for dusk, and are just about ready to fly around, hunt and screech all night. We had this owl house installed on our property six years ago in the hope that it would attract owls who would hunt the many rodents in our rural neighborhood. This year we had 3 owls hatch in the house, whereas in the past, we've always had only 2 owls hatch. They are so fun to watch and they do a great job of rodent control. Within a couple minutes of this picture being taken, they flew off to hunt and receive food from their parents.

Lighting: I used two tall light stands, one on either side of the owl house. The stand on the left had 1 Yongnuo flash, and the other stand had 2 Yongnuo strobes. The strobes, in manual mode, and my tripod mounted camera, were triggered by a Yongnuo RF-603N.
