You can't tell from my photo angle here, but the SS Moyie is a paddle steamer sternwheeler that served as a Canadian Pacific ferry and general freight boat on Kootenay Lake in the southern interior of British Columbia, Canada. Launched in 1898 and taken out of service in 1957, she was purchased by the lakeside village of Kaslo, restored to her former grandeur and placed on permanent display on the shore of the same lake she had served so well for many years.
The SS Moyie is now a designated National Historic Site of Canada and is the oldest intact passenger sternwheeler in the world.
