I'm really not sure about this image. For me it's lacking some drama, leading lines et cetera. Why post? Well, again I'm not sure, maybe it's just me being over critical but my primary reason in deciding to post is because of all the effort it took to get there, and to be honest due to the lack of tide and movement, it's about all I could get before I got cut off by the incoming tide further up the beach.

This was taken on New Years morning before I captured sunrise. The moon has played ball nicely with the f/18 aperture and is placed dead centre of the frame. I keep adding these vignettes just lately, but I'm sure I'll grow out of it one day, it just sort of suited this one. I promise no more Portland Bill (lighthouse) shots for a long time!!! You can just see the head torches of two other photographers on the headland..... mad buggers....ha ha ha!
Sorry If I've been out of touch recently, but I've been worse for ware just lately, will catch up with you all later this weekend hopefully.

My 1Ds MK 2 is pretty dated now and just doesn't seem to deal with noise too well. I use 'Imagenomic Noiseware Pro' to try and sort out any noise issues but as you're all aware it can strip the detail out of the image, so this shot was a real difficult one to fix. Any tips on better noise reduction s/w than imagenomic appreciated.
Anyway, this was taken last night, where I froze, starved and nearly got washed away as the sea state was pretty rough. The 5 minute exposure has calmed things down significantly!!! But the 3/4 moon done its duty impeccably.

This is Stanley (on the left) and Woody. Stanley is 8 months old now and Woody is 13 years old. Stanley has undoubtably brought a new lease of life to our old Springer, they play constantly and I'd say they love each other's company, indoors and out.
