Added about 4 hours of H-alpha only data with the 533mm and a 7nm h-alpha filter, made those pink areas really pop out around the galaxy.

Started imaging M106 and the surrounding galaxies the other night, got 8ish hours of imaging, but between the partial moon, poor seeing, and random gusts of wind I had to toss about half the data. Decided to process what I had, around 3.75 hours worth, decent result. It's a busy area full of little galaxies to look at, just need to up the integration time to 10+ hours to bring out more details. With the full moon phase in full swing I'm not sure how much more time I'll get on this.

This galaxy is deceptively difficult I guess, low surface brightness, even at 12 hours it's still quite noisy. Maybe next week I can get some more time on this if/when the weather clears.

Wow, a clear night for once, did ~3.5 hours on M101 before it got too far into the light pollution. Here's a quick stack and edit, no calibration frames, just to see what it is like with the 150pds and ASI533mc Pro.

Wow, we finally had a clear night! It's been something like 2.5 months straight without any clear nights without a fullish moon and I finally got to use the new telescope setup to do some DSO imaging. Decided that M51 would make a good target for an all nighter since it's rising above 25 degrees not long after astro dark, so I got 6 hours and 40 minutes worth of integration on this. Would love to double that, we're supposed to get more clear skies next weekend shockingly, but of course the moon will be up later and later starting then.
