Looking out the window of the bus on my way to work, I noticed that a second hand store was having a 40 percent off sale on kitchen items. Later, on my way home, I stopped in to have a look. Amidst the piles of old cutlery, I found some spoons and forks with intricate patterns on the handles. At 13 cents per item it was easy to choose a large handful. The next day I tried a few gentle bends around a wooden dowel. These 3 were bound together with aluminum wire. The result looks a bit like a helicopter.

My wife says that this one looks a bit like a motorbike. I used a vice, hammer, and pliers to bend and interlock 4 old forks.
