Here are some of Phil's weavings. The shapes are a result of variations in the width of the strips. The red and grey one is woven from slices that were cut from a rubber mat that was red on one side and grey on the other. It's for inside use and should be kept out of direct sunlight. The other 7 were made from aluminum roof flashing that is black one side and white on the other. These can be placed either inside or outside. The tallest weaving is about 57 inches high.

The shapes are a result of variations in the width of the strips. Each weaving has strips of 2 different colours and the resulting patterns shrink or expand as the strip widths vary. The 2 in the back are woven from slices that were cut from rubber place mats. The front ones are woven from slices of craft foam. To keep the strands from unweaving, short pieces of 18 gauge aluminum wire were threaded through awl holes and folded flat at the ends. These items should be kept out of direct sunlight. The tallest of these 4 weavings is about 6 inches high.
