2 photos of the same glass paperweight. Blank microscope slides were glued together with shards of coloured scrap glass inside. A glass candle holder adds some weight for a base. A wax crayon added some colour to the hot glue. The church front and the steeple back were glued from glass covers that came with the microscope slides. I found these covers hard to work with as the glass is very thin, so for the church back I used shards of broken window glass. The window glass is much thicker and stronger, so I'll keep the covers to make paper weights that seal the covers inside glass bowls etc., where they will be more protected.
