The barrel of a 300 Win Mag Rifle is barely visible in the deep forest of the Grafenwoehr Training Area July 24. Students in the International Special Training Centre?s (ISTC) Sniper Course, an intense five-week course that teaches NATO Special Operations Forces in sniper basic fundamentals, spent the night stalking and observing their targets during an evaluated exercise. The facilities at the Joint Multinational Training Command (JMTC) allow the Special Operations Forces throughout NATO to train to standard. More at www.eur.army.mil/JMTC/ISTC.html.
