Bewl Water on Sussex/ Kent border, UK..Image pulled up then photographed on computer monitor. Worked in Lightroom. Highly pixelated but intriguing nevertheless. What do you think..Kind Regards..David

Previous pictures Bewl Mystery refer. I have rechecked at scene and believe the subject is 40 to 50 metres, probably more, beyond the ducks.
Buildings at other end of Water, sailing club, just visible in picture are 3000 metres 1.8 mile distant. I reconfirm my belief that the subject could be 3 to 4 ft in length.Possible position near opposite bank now added to map. See new pictures that may indicate the subject took 9 minutes to swim across. That is approx 2.5 ft per second or 1.7 mph in a straight line . Water level varies considerably in Bewl so the water line in diagram may not be accurate , it was possibly higher at the time. I have revisited site and believe my distance calculations on map above are absolute minimum ie entry up to 250 m, subject up to 130 m .Kind Regards..David Burr 28/3/2015.
