May 4th - a storm trooper helmet on this most auspicious day. I have been teaching paediatric life support all day (hence the mannequin in photostream!) and we have had much fun with Star Wars references throughout.
this helmet was moulded for us by a friend and given to my son - it is his pride and joy (alongside the now ex dalek!)

Life was quieter now that she and Han had settled down and had the 2 kids; and Lando and Mace were such great, although surprisingly rebellious, boys. But Leia did sometimes wonder if that was all there was to life now.

Vader had just about had enough of working from home.
It wasn't the lack of faith that was disturbing, but the lack of Wi Fi. Communication with the Death Star Conference Room dropped off at awkward moments, and he kept forgetting to turn himself onto mute which meant heavy breathing for everyone else.
And the office was cold, so he was stuck in his black dry robe, which did not give him the gravitas he usually felt.
Most frustratingly there was no chance of using the light sabre for late arrivals, and the cat was no where to be seen as usual.

WAH are visiting the infamous, wonderful and crazy Hoopy Froods on May 4th. (yes it's my group; kindly suggested by Ruth)

The Jedi belief system echoes that of Douglas Adams. A towel can act simply as a robe; it can be used to shelter from the sands of Tatooine and Jakku; it can hide you from Jango Fett and you can dry off with it after falling into the swamps of Dagobah.
The famous Jedi Towelling robe also allowed great freedom of movement. The rough material proved useful on survival missions, as it is strong enough to show some resistance to tearing and fraying, as well as putting the wearer through some discomfort to help sharpen their focus. Rey could have done with one of these while fighting Kylo Ren on the 2nd death star

The towel may well have travelled to a Universe far away but at the moment is stuck in isolation.
