December 22nd. We went into town ice skating, but the kids wanted also go on the helter skelter. We are celebrating Christmas with our family.

October 13th. This was a tiny little fella but he looked so sweet surrounded by drops. I've cranked this up in Snapseed to give that slight unreal look. I has several versions of this but I really like this as an 'unnatural' shot. Catching up later . Ps. Thai food was very good even if I say so myself!

August 23rd. Alternative title... 'and jam' So, a double theme of food and graffiti. The original idea was simply too messy. So this was plan B with squirty cream and the cooperative teenager who informed me that this is, and i quote "the pose" (therefore the other shot I also liked went into outtakes and is in comments; i am happy to take votes!). I used the title fx, image blender and Snapseed apps to get this.

August 16th. After last nights frustration I was determined to get a shot I was really pleased with before travelling away again. So I went out first thing with the macro lens to the blue fence (thinking about fence Friday as well).
There were some corner webs just full of rain drops. So heavy that I was surprised they hadn't broken, and I had a lovely time. I have other pics that may crop up for other themes but this I loved. I have cropped slightly and darkened but the blue is from the fence behind and not added.
This also works for me for my Ipernity group - Games and other disasters - "mirrorz" -lots of little reflective jewels here!

August 11th. taken seconds after midnight; saw it, shot it, got lucky with timing. I know now the theme is blue, but I didn't know this at the time I took this. I did have another shot i could have used but i loved this. These party goers were posing and taking photos of their shapes. They did not know I was behind them. I wanted to suggest Charlie's Angels but suspect they were too young.
Us oldies went to bed not long after this and then had a great final day culminating in Noah and the Whale and an Orchestral movie theme evening - a bit like last night of the proms I guess.
we've returned home today (12th) and are exhausted. I have taken pics this evening but need to get my head down. so tired I forgot to add it to the groups - just remedied!
