1st October. I am in the process of sorting out photos and albums. This is #3 aged 1 and aged 12. What changes 11 years has brung, but it seems like no time. The first picture is in an album, so not great quality as snapped direct from the album, and boy snapped before getting back in the car.
After our adventures on Sunday, I have driven back to Southampton this evening for a 3 day course. There is thankfully wifi in the guest house. Unfortunately it is very very slow.
This is the first shot for the October group.

2nd October. In the Ashurst centre on the edge of the New Forest. I used to work here a long time ago and one of my mates still does. It's a very odd place, full of converted buildings; a hotchpotch of NHS and management services. This lovely little church has been turned into meeting rooms. If you look through the proper leaded windows you see plasterboard walls. A shame.
Really sorry to post and run but off to see another of my oldest friends tonight and late already

3rd October. I was going to do change in the weather today but the promised deluge avoided Southampton, in fact we even had sun. So I went for a run after the course today and found a cycle path through the New Forest. I got to this checkpoint and found this little fellow. A New Forest pony, when usually I see coos and sheeps. I looked at him, he looked at me and we agreed that neither of us had a bike, but we would use the trail anyway. Thought this would work for the double combi for week 40. Changes (365) and wildlife photography (52) - but it is now an outtake for the 52 group.
It was quite difficult to get this processed right. It is a phone shot and the light was all wrong, behind him and bright grey. This tone seems to highlight the pony best. I'd be interested in your thoughts.

October 4th. Changes - because I've changed my submission to the 2013:52 group for the wildlife theme and made this the double combi. This young lady was right outside the offices where we were working today, the alternative title is changed view because in Cornwall I see a gas tower and car park! I was so pleased to have my proper little camera with me and have promised to send this to the course lead. Isn't she beautiful?
On a Matt note, I drove 4 hours back to Cornwall this evening through dreadful traffic. Desperate for a glass of wine, i rummaged in the cupboard, found a nice bottle which i picked up and placed on the side. i then turned round , caught it with my sleeve and smashed it all over our kitchen. half an hour of cursing, mopping and almost weeping! Now sat with another bottle safely placed on table and glass in hand.

October 5th. As the kids grow older you move away from plastic for electronic. We still have some of the kiddie stuff around as they love it, and we usually have my child minders 3 year old here. So here we have playmobil and marble run vs the iPad, ps3 and electric bass. I have cranked up the light and colour slightly. I kinda like the look of the knight at the ps3 control. Is it admiration or worry?
This is also for the glass slipper gang. Week 40. Toy story.
