April 1st. Still trying this low key stuff. This is my impro light ( dark) box. Which is, for those interested, a 6 bottle cardboard wine box, lined with a black t shirt. I placed the heather into it and took pics using the light from the window again. I liked this because the green leaves, which had fallen off, look like they're floating!
Because of the blurring at the back this is my weekly submission to the glass slipper blog. Week 13.
And it's the first day of the April group so day 1 of this too!

April 2nd. Back to work today but hubby on leave. The kids were disgusting this evening. Tired, crotchety, fed up with each other and a cousin here to throw the hierarchy out. There was only one solution despite work tomorrow.......
I lay on the floor in our downstairs loo to get this, as it's the only room without light. I have tweaked in Snapseed. A bit of a cheat but that's me done today.

April 3rd. Getting slightly desperate! Thought about going outside at dusk to do some low key but it's too cold! I was not helped by the ginger cat doing this!

April 4th. I am really struggling this week. Trying to do low key and had enough of locking myself in dark rooms and trying to get focus and lighting right. I needed fresh air tonight so walked up to one of the barns which is quite dark, played with the speed settings and took pics of machinery. I'm not sure if this counts as low key, but I like it. Mono conversion only

April 5th. Trying to get the dual theme of panning (52) and low key, this is neither! but heigh ho it's Friday night and I have a house full of children (12) for sleepovers and stuff . So I'm calling this a day. or late evening to be precise. mojo gone
