January 26th. While there is more snow up north, we have a beautiful sunny day. It is the holy Trinity day for mothers - a non work day, with sunshine and wind. Yes, I can hang my washing on the line to dry!! With 4 sporty children, believe me this helps my Aegean Stable task no end. However, you have no desire to see our smalls ( great word), I'm sure. I took the dog out and surprised these birds in a field; as they rose up, I whirled round and snapped a load of shots. Straight into the sun, so I have had to process this a little. I have also submitted this to the new Flickr Friday group for "Beyond the Horizon". It seemed apt.

May 3rd.
I know it's not one of your lots, but this has been my back up shot for today. At work then driving 4 hours to see my folks for weekend.
So, this morning after the bigs had gone, I set this up with #4 and a torch. I loaded it onto the I pad and have spent squeezed minutes putting it together. I have used a combination of Snapseed, Retouch, Titlefx and Blender to get this.
I presume you don't need an original!
Because the theme for the 52 group is copycat, I have made this my photo of the week!

June 3rd. Back at work today after a lovely weekend of excess! Slightly jaded but hey ho. We're off out again tonight to see Eddie Izzard at the Eden project so I wanted to get this in. I love these aquilegias which self seed all over the garden and I was really chuffed to catch the little bug !

May 10th. Ok, I give in. The weather is wet and cold; I was hoping for dramatic or gorgeous or something. But it is grey and damp and boring. So I think this captures the weather beautifully for the 52 theme. I was trying to catch drops from the tree above and got me one. I have cleaned it up and cropped in comments.

March 21st. Running a little low on light and inspiration. Weather awful. Depressingly wet. Spent a while trying to get lighting right, while dealing with cranky kids and interested dog (he grabbed and ran off with the apple I was trying to shoot). So I took a picture of this statuette we were bought for our wedding. Cranked up the brightness and exposure, cloned out some of the dirt and added my fave blue wash. Day 80. Boom. No socks yet.
