FILARI DI VITI SUL COLLIO
Questa immagine risale a parecchi anni fa ma rappresenta quello che sta succedendo da una settimana in qua....dopo giornate di caldo anomalo e dove sembrava che la natura esplodesse in tutta la sua spettacolarità le temperature si sono notevolmente abbassate e la neve è scesa anche a quote molto basse....il gelo della notte mette in pericolo le coltivazioni agricole.

This image dates back to several years ago but represents what has been happening for a week now.... after days of anomalous heat and where it seemed that nature was exploding in all its spectacularity, the temperatures have dropped considerably and the snow has fallen even at very low altitudes....the frost at night endangers agricultural crops.

LAUDAKIA. AGAMA CAUCASICA
Lo Stellagama (Agama o Laudakia) stellio, meglio noto come Stellione, è l'unico agamide che ha tentato ripetutamente di trasferirsi in Italia, imbarcandosi come clandestino su traghetti e navi mercantili provenienti da svariate regioni dell'area mediterranea. Tuttavia il nostro clima risulta troppo rigido per questa specie, che ha quindi fallito nel suo tentativo egemonico, benchè di tanto in tanto qualche esemplare venga segnalato nelle nostre regioni più meridionali.

LAUDAKIA. CAUCASIAN AGAMA
The Stellagama (Agama or Laudakia) stellio, better known as Stellione, is the only agamid who has repeatedly attempted to move to Italy, embarking as a stowaway on ferries and merchant ships coming from various regions of the Mediterranean area. However, our climate is too harsh for this species, which has therefore failed in its hegemonic attempt, although from time to time some specimens are reported in our southernmost regions.

ADRENALINA ALLO STATO PURO
“Lo speedway è una specialità particolare. Le moto non hanno freni, il motore è un 500 cc quattro tempi. Sviluppa una settantina di cavalli ed è alimentato a metanolo. Si corre su piste in terra battuta, ovali, di circa 400 metri in lunghezza. Solitamente si passa al formato di gara, un classico di venti manche di quattro giri ciascuna. Il pilota si fonde con la moto. La manche dura circa un minuto nel quale il pilota e la moto danno tutto. È stupendo, indescrivibile: si dovrebbe provare”.

PURE ADRENALINE
“Speedway is a particular specialty. The motorbikes have no brakes, the engine is a 500 cc four-stroke. It develops around seventy horsepower and is powered by methanol. It runs on clay, oval tracks, approximately 400 meters in length. Usually we switch to the race format, a classic of twenty heats of four laps each. The rider merges with the motorcycle. The heat lasts about a minute in which the rider and the bike give everything. It's wonderful, indescribable: you should try it."
