The twins haven't quite caught onto the idea that Mom and Dad aren't really interested in feeding them anymore. They sort of offer them food, then draw it away and often peck at the chicks, trying to get them to eat on their own. The male will drive them off in a few more days so that they aren't bothering him for food when the next batch is born. They will probably hang around, but they won't be terribly welcome.
The mother, above, is not as aggressive towards them, but rarely feeds them anymore. If another bird bothers the chicks, however, both parents go into full attack mode. Nobody is mean to their kids except them.
Today was the first time I was able to get both chicks together in the same shot. They don't really interact, but I was happy for the chance.
I have been watching the two youngsters forage and they seem pretty good at finding their own food. Just gotta learn to watch out for the Cooper's Hawk. . .
I've put up a page of this year's Bluebird activity on my website - about 100 different shots of the family. You can see it at:

My first wood frog sighting! I was having a photo shoot with a toad when he hopped under the low wooden boardwalk. He popped out the other side, or so I thought, until I realized hey you got a complete makeover! The toad must’ve flushed out this beauty!

We still have high temperatures during the day and the nights are so humid: we are all melting, especially the cats. Ray didn't even make it downstairs this morning: he just 'collapsed' at the top of the stairs

Taken from our front yard. The bird was in the top of a high tree on the other side of the road, on neighbour's property.
