A second floor resident's cat was attacked in the living room poor little thing needed over 60 stitches, mostly on its stomach. It's doing okay now, though.

The smoke haze from all the wildfires burning in the middle and north of the Province has finally made it to the city. There's an air quality advisory in effect, although I haven't noticed anything untoward. Not like 2 years ago when the sky turned orange and it was difficult for those of us with lung problems to breathe easily when outside.

Where have the mountains gone? The smoke haze from all the wildfires burning in the middle and north of the Province has finally made it to the city. And the mountains that normally are visible from almost anywhere in the city, especially from here on the sea wall, have disappeared completely behind a haze of wildfire smoke.

There's an air quality advisory in effect, although so far I haven't had any breathing difficulties at all. Not like 2 years ago when the sky turned orange and it was difficult for those of us with lung problems to breathe easily when outside.
