Had this idea for a while. Taken with my 60d with my 7d mounted on my gungrip vanguard tripod head.
I think I picked the worst day to do it as it was raining quite bad. I did this on top of a car park in Birmingham city center. The rain let off enough for just long enough to snap a few shots.
It was actually dress down day at work so I got some funny looks turning up looking like I was heading to a job interview.

Split toned in lightroom to give it a matrix feel.

I was stood looking at the sky when this guy with a dog emerged from an alleyway. I saw this shot in my head (in B&W) so I quickly snapped it before he got too close (and mad).
I did a B&W conversion in Lightroom but ended up tinting it sepia as I thought it brought out the contrast in the pavement a little better.

My lovely girlfriend took me for a birthday day out today. We went to the zoo!
Went armed with 60d, 7d and an assortment of lenses, so my back is destroyed.
After 7 hours of walking around the zoo, I'm knackered. I'm too old for this s@#$ :P
The highlight of the day were the tigers. They are stunning creatures.
Caught this one mid-yawn / snarl. Details are smudged a little by high iso, but I still love the shot. It really stood out from todays haul.
We finished the day with pizza, beers and ice cream with baileys on. Awesome!
