these were some quality time art ornaments the children and I created decades ago,fimo clay over glass then fired at a low temp.The 3-D face was a piece my son did called a "peace" an angel representing "peace on earth good will towards men"..
The second was what I called the 60s.Three hippies with headbands and flowers and peace symbols on the backside. Actually one of my favorite pieces.More and more as the years go by I reflect on those golden moments at this cherished time of year...

Just for fun last evening I played with the ornaments that I was getting ready to put on the tree.Since I had the lights on I decided to see if I could capture some BOKEH.not much here but its a start.
Cant wait to see the grandchildren explore all of the ornaments and decide which one they like the best THIS year...24 more days...

Each year as I go through the ornaments and start putting them on the tree I realize just how precious this time of year is and for what reasons they were chosen,
The image above with the framed children is of the my children when they were much younger and the mystery of Christmas was new and awe inspiring .The rubber duckie is for the newest member of the family.
Now the most of them are grown and have families of their own and the traditions are repeating themselves .
Where has the time gone .....?
