My first textured image with a program Ive had tooooo long not to use.
Roses in my garden some faded and some in full bloom..
a massive learning curve for me,but fun,isn't that what its all about ?

I had so much fun doing this today, pushing myself to go beyond the everyday,
This is my first capture of a drop and I really liked the end results of the garden reflections in the drop,and the perfect leaf to do this was from my lilies.
No changes other than a crop and no photoshop !Straight out of the camera,taken with a Nikon 60mm macro love love love this lens...
I have always loved this phrase and needed to be able to present it accordingly,simplistic in design but what is it they say,"a pictures speaks a thousand words....and these words are perfect....hope you enjoy my efforts...

this image is a close-up of a watercolor I did of my youngest daughter in the garden ,her 16th year.We collected all of the flowers that were in bloom and pinned them in her hair as the bees were buzzing around her head and her pleas ;hurry momma echoed in my ears.All turned out well and the photo shoot was a success.I entered this in a national watercolor show here in the U.S (my first) and was thrilled to learn of it winning two national awards.She is 33
years old now and is quite a beauty both inside and out
