Well the start of 2019 and now back to doing what I love doing he most after the silly season is over.
First trip to the Hunter Valley Wetlands with good ole mate Archie McCafferty and spotted this honeyeater amongst his favourite Australian native tree, the bottlebrush.
Wishing all a very happy new year and thanks for your views, comments and favourites.

As we were walking out of the area and calling it a day we, fellow Flickr Tog Archie McCafferty and I noticed the water from this little water fall entering a hole in the rock but couldn't for the life of us figure out or see it where it was going once it went into the hole.

Thought I'd post this image from last weeks venture with good ole mate Archie Mccafferty to these falls.
One can never tire from looking at the beauty and feeling the calming effect waterfalls have on us.

A return to the Hunter Valley Botanical Gardens with good ole mate and fellow Flickr tog Archie McCafferty had us walking around the Lily pond where we noticed this beautiful Lily just opening to the early morning light which gave it this beautiful lamp shade effect glowing from the inside.
