This 8' high bronze statue of a polar bear flanked by two cubs is located at the harbor in Copenhagen between the Little Mermaid statue and the day cruise ship port. The bear is standing upright on two legs with its nose in the air. The cubs are facing forward while standing on all four legs on either side of their mother. The statue rests on a two tiered granite pedestal.

A plaque below the statue is inscribed:
