Hotwells Bristol. Modern houses with Georgian colourful houses behind. Overlooking Bristol Harbour .
Hotwells takes its name from the hot springs which bubble up through the rocks of the Avon Gorge underneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The springs were first documented in 1480 by William Worcester, the 15th century chronicler and antiquary. He described the waters as being milky and as warm as those at Bath .
This is the last of my Bristol set-- the great trip with Gartholwg Camera Club .
