My photo of comet McNaught taken 23rd Jan 2007, Olympus E330, 60sec, ISO400, Zuiko 50mm f/1.4 lens at F/2, hand guided piggy-backed to a motor-driven telescope, in rural region which allowed me longer exposure to better demonstrate the fantastic tail.
We were very lucky in Australia to get a view of this magnificent comet which unfortunately was not seen well in the Northern Hemisphere.
see www.ayton.id.au/gary/Science/Astronomy/Ast_CometMcNaughtP... for more details, and other photos of this comet.

the amazing omega centaurus globular cluster of millions of stars
taken with Panasonic GH-1 Micro Four Thirds camera mounted to a Williams Optics 4" f/7 refractor telescope (ie. 700mm focal length)
60 sec exposure at ISO 3200
this cluster really needs 2-4x this exposure to really bring out the stars but I did not have time to do this with my GH-1 as clouds rolled in.
