W9 found another Bittern... I know! Then we got the Blue Grosbeak (LIFER) at Madrona. Also the dowitchers ( I am thinking Long-billed. Fresh water. But the peanut gallery voted Short-billed. Alas. No good photos.) The Common Yellowthroat came out and did his best Rubber Ducky imitation. Grosbeaks. Orioles. Thrashers. Loud Parrots! Tiny Bushtits and Blue gray Gnatcatchers. The Cactus Wrens (LIFER) put on a show at Terranea. Gosh. It was a fun month. But we are approaching migration so hang on to your hats. Thank you for checking in.
