I drew this in class to explain to my classmates why I always chuckled when our professor tried to explain "in a nutshell" what he meant by a jet engine's figure of merit. Whenever he says "in a nutshell," and he says that a lot, I always get this image in my head: that weird squirrel from Ice Age, smoking weed for some reason (maybe medical), and trying to figure out how to crack the nutshell. I also usually ask people to add to my drawings with the first thing that comes to their mind. Tonight, while cramming for the propulsion exam, I was reminded of an art history lecture about how Freud's elements of the psyche show up in artwork (thanks Kari, Joan, and Joe:). Now this is no artwork but since I put pressure on my classmates to draw or write the first thing that came to their mind, then it might be showing their id :) I've marked what each person drew. You draw your own conclusions, and have fun and don't analyze this silly image too much :)
Josip's explanation: I'm not trying to grope your squirrel. It's just that his tail is so fluffy and cute.
Jennifer: It's not a penis, just a worm.
Dan: I just wanna kill your squirrel.
Me: You guys have sick minds.
