Whitetail fawns. When twins are born the female hides them separately. Only when they can run do they spend time together. These fawns will stay with their mother until she gives birth next Spring. Our beautiful world, pass it on.
On my return visit I was able to get some more close shots of this obliging Western Tanager. He was carrying bugs back and forth and would occasionally chase of another male that would come around intermittently. Click for large view.
