First built in 1858: Boston Mills burned down in 1862 but, was rebuilt in 1863. It is Oregon's oldest continuously operating water-powered mill. It's one of the four remaining gristmills in the state and one of only two mills still in operation. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
