On our last day in Austin, we've had the chance to attend Juneteenth or Freedom Day Parade. It commemorates the end of Texan slavery in 1865.

Next stop: Houston. We've spent only one night there and visited NASA Johnson Space Center in the morning. We found the Starhip Gallery pretty impressive since original spacecraft like the actual Mercury Atlas 9 "Faith 7" capsule are on display. However, the Lunar Rover in this shot is only a trainer, it probably never left Texas.
