During our stay in Austin we returned to Whole Foods Market nearly every day to stock up with food and beverages. The Sushi was our favorite - good quality and a bargain compared to the Sushi prices here in Germany.

BTW: They did not offer any "True Blood" which proves that the HBO series of the same name is indeed purely fictitious. ;-)

Very famous in Austin's SoCo (South Congress Avenue) area: Fran's Diner. The interior is lovely old-fashioned and their burgers are simply delicious!

Austin's South Congress (SoCo) is a lively shopping district with famous motels like the "Austin Motel", handicraft stores filled with Native American and Mexican art, and unique eateries like "Fran's Diner". We went there during ISIT2010 lunch break, the red Prius was ours.
