On my way home from a Thanksgiving weekend in Death Valley, I wandered just a bit through the Owens Valley. It was a glorious day with an incoming storm promising rain and snow for California's parched Sierra Nevada. We did get some weather with snow at the higher elevations, but little since then. Still, I was enjoying my travels taking what time I could to explore areas I hadn't been to before. When I think of days like this, I wish I could just keep wandering.
