On our way out to Las Vegas, I decided to take the long way 'round... The cliche road less traveled.
We stopped off at Joshua Tree National Park to shoot the Arch Rock at White Tank Campground. I was told it was right off a campsite so I went with that. After finding the trailhead, I made my way in search of the Arch. Keep in mind it's now after midnight, but I have the moonlight. I was about to give up on my search when I found a sign on the trail the was labled "The Arch" but I saw no Arch. If you are standing on the trail, looking at the sign post, you can't actually see the Arch. I step around and bit and find this view of the arch.

Here's a shot of a camera shooting a timelapse, cameraception if you will. During my last road trip we camped for a night in Joshua Tree. I set up my Cinetics Axis 360 to shoot a timelapse while we sat by the fire. I figured I might as well get a behind the scenes shot since I had the camera handy. I set up the GoPro Hero4 on my Joby Focus Tripod and let it run while I let the slider do its thing.

During my last road trip, I dropped my girlfriend off in Oregon and made my way for some National Parks in Washington. Mount Rainier has been one of my favorite Parks I have visited so far. The Subaru handled the drive like a champ even tho it had some issues later on in the trip.
They say money can't buy happiness, but it can buy a Subaru.
