Now that the sun is setting earlier in the evening, I had to stop dinner prep mid-chopping to grab my camera and head down to the beach. Golden Gardens in Seattle, WA.

Golden Gardens in Seattle has a small grove of deciduous trees that grow out of the sand. Most of the park is surrounded by evergreens which are beautiful, but I prefer these tall and crooked ones. They cast wonderful shadows when the afternoon sun falls on them. In between their trunks you will find a place to lay a blanket and picnic. I chose black and white for this image as it evokes the mood I feel when looking upon them.
