The yellow border of this field stood out like the proverbial sore thumb, I presume it must be Oil seed Canola, the light was nice with clouds racing across the landscape, it is strange today, it`s not raining .

On our stay at the farm we were told of a footpath that would take us to the River Thames, Well after all the wet weather the ground was super saturated, it looked fine to walk on but take a step too far and you were up to your ankles so we called it a day at this point.

I am posting this image for the second day running as it has not been showing up in my contacts feeds, apologies if you have seen it by chance, My thanks to Ed Weatherby www.flickr.com/photos/e_w_photo/.
for pointing out to me the photo was not showing, Many thanks Ed .After spotting this area of Oil seed rape/ Canola in the wind and rain, a return visit was needed.
On the first decent day later I popped back up to the fields, the sky was clouding over a bit and not too much wind unlike the last time I was here.
Finding a composition was not easy for the first shot I was rushing around a bit as the sun would soon dip below the far hill.
A little area was found with tractor tracks leading into the crop, once I had my first couple of shots in the bag I moved up and down the field looking for any other compositions, the only problem with this spot is the hill on the other side of the valley is rather high so the sky falls away a little earlier behind the hill.
I did drive to another spot for a different view which was nice so tried some shots there then just as I was packing up the sky lit up for a lovely finish.
Two bracketed shots blended together one for the sky and one for my foreground .

Another rainy day shot, just some Bluebells that came up in my garden so when the weather turned out rubbish I turned to a bit of creativity, a black background and a torch did the trick. Another wet and windy day here just for a change .
