You cant disgaree with Jehangir. If there is paradise on earth, it is Kashmir. we took a three hour detour from the Srinagar -Jammu highway to spend some time in the Lidder valley that originates form the Kolhoi Glacier further upstream. Child hood memories make me feel that Sonmarg was better with its greenery, snow, river and the Thajiwas glacier.
