Merry Christmas to everyone!
I have to say sorry soince I haven't been to active in the last few weeks. This was mostly caused because I have been trying out this instagram thing. You can find me there under my username "notquiteahuman1".

Anyway: I decided to go to the Christmasgarden at the Wilhelma in Stuttgart this year and was amazed by the beautiful installations and illumination (And I hope very much that the animals haven't been disturbed to much!!!).
I really loved the water lilies!

I need some advice: I found a great deal for a Pentacon six with a Car Zeiss Biometar 80mm f2.8 on ebay.
Today I got the camera and was very disapointed:
The viewfinder is terrible dark and I can't focus.
I checked if the lens moves when I focus (it does) and further testing revealed that I can focus somewhere between 30 and 50 cm away from the lens (hard to see as the screen is not very bright).
I looked up some pictures of the lens online and non had that silver "barrel" that I marked in the red box.
My conclusion is that I got a free and unexpected additional item:
Can anyone confirm that this is a macro extension tube (extension ring) and maybe instruct me on how to remove it? I experimented very gentle but for now was not able to remove it.
