How lucky we are, that the beautiful St Enodoc Church is all but on our doorstep. Of all the places we visit, this is like a piece of Heaven on earth to Mrs P and I.

It was also a location of great inspiration for the Poet Laureate Sir John Betjamin who is laid to rest there.

Inspiration, this leads me on nicely to say people are very important to us, and it is people like you all my Flickr friends who view, fave, and comment on my work that inspire me to continue the search for as many photographic opportunities as I can find.

I cannot thank you all enough.

The stories are also driven by so many characters that I seem so lucky to randomly bump into, there are so many true elements within the stories with obviously a bit of poetic licence.

It just leaves me to say, have a Very Merry Christmas and a very healthy and peaceful New Year

My first Mono, thought it might work with this old iron bridge. Comments good or bad much appreciated as it is the only way for me to learn.
This bridge was completed in 1899 to enable trains to go from Wadebridge to Padstow, until the line was shut down in 1967.
Now it forms part of The Camel Trail.

I had not used this piece of road to New Polzeath for a while and could not believe my eyes when I saw this poor old Phone Box. 1st thoughts were the line Michael Caine used from the Italian Job Film "blow the doors etc". Then I felt here we are in 2017 BT are one of the biggest companies in the country, and this is how they do not look after their products. Finally however it does have a certain charm, being quite near the sea in Cornwall. Thankfully it still works, zoom in and you will see the LCD display saying, BT Payphone. Love to hear your comments and thank you for looking.

For once this side of the beach had no surfers, then while lining this shot up this person just appears from the sea, frightened the life out of me.
He came over to me, apologised if he had got in the way of my photo, my response was he had added something to the shot.
He said he was local and on his daily swim from the other bay around the corner !
Appreciate your thoughts on my inclusion of him.
