It was my first season of "boat-nerding" having been indoctrinated by a chance encounter with MISSISSAGI near this same location a couple of months previous. This day I was meeting up with a couple of friends and had a 3-4 hour jump on them so scouted out nearby ships and sure enough the SAGINAW was coming across Lake Ontario aimed right at me. Here it catches some fall colour in the Welland Canal upbound between locks 1 & 2.
