US Highway 52 closely follows the NS Pocahontas Division through West Virginia but it's narrow and finding a place to stash your vehicle to shoot trains at a good location can be a challenge. But I found a little nook at the Roderfield tunnel, and I also found an NS autorack train coming out of the Vaughn Tunnel, viewed through the Roderfield Tunnel.

Any double track main line is not without it's perils. Here, a whole lot of striped cowls pop out from behind an agonizingly slow westbound which is just cresting the grade at Copetown, Ontario.

The four cowls are long-retired, and the Dash 9 at the rear has been rebuilt as an AC44C6M, now CN 3348.
