It’s become law in our household that you can’t go to Clitheroe and not call in at Holmes Mill, either for a drink or to take some pictures. Having lost my cable-release somewhere in Skye earlier in the year I wanted to test the replacement. I never knew you could auto-focus in live view via the release so armed with beanbag and camera...
Had so much fun with my new found knowledge and sticking the camera where tripods cannot reach, I totally forgot about the background - a rare inclusion of Mrs R!

What a difference an hour makes... from my earlier posting with the rain lashing down to bright sunshine and t-shirt weather!
What I missed out photography wise, the full breakfast, coffees, cakes and beer stops made up for it all. Worth another visit and maybe squeeze in Gibson Mill next time.

I’m more sick of all the bad weather and flat dull grey skies that have lingered for months than the virus and lockdowns. Still raiding my archives and thought it appropriate to post a dull rainy image to go along with my mood. Off to Manchester to meet up with Eddie and Pete tomorrow… no doubt Eddie will bring the rain!
