The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays

Not the best trip down to the Quays I’ve had weather wise. But a Saturday night outing with fellow togs Mark Waidson and Geoff Moore didn’t put us off. Mark and Geoff have only visited once or twice at tops here before so I was more focused on them maximising the location hotspots.

However, it’s always nice to find something a bit different… I’ve thought of this viewpoint many times before but never actually got around to trying it out at night. Glad we made the effort to try it out!

The Alchemist, Salford Quays

A cocktail bar and restaurant right in the heart of MediaCity UK situated on the approach road – The Quays. It straddles the North Bay and Huron/Erie Basins. At times I felt they had the better deal being on the inside while we three were on the outside in the drizzle and rain.

Still, I bet none of them have images that we captured that night… togs 1:0 diners

MediaCity Bridge, Salford Quays

A weekend shoot with Flickr friends started with a Saturday evening trip down to Salford Quays with Mark Waidson and Geoff Moore. The weather as usual didn’t play ball and teased us with random drizzle and light rain just to prevent any upward shots. Still, we all managed a few decent images between us… here’s my first from the trip.
