Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glenfinnan, Scotland

Sometimes you can be too clever for your own good with a detailed filing system!

Whenever I have a frenzy of a photo shoot, which isn't very often, I always separate out the panoramic images first after the download and move them to their own little directory marked "Panoramas" on the PC before reviewing and culling the rest from my memory cards. Unfortunately, I also have a memory like a sieve and consequently forget about them instantly. I've already posted an image of this viaduct but wasn't quite happy with it, but considering it was our one and only chance to visit then I'm damn well going to upload something to mark the visit if nothing else!

So, while tidying up the hard drive I had a quick look in said directory and came across this one - not labelled, processed or merged.

It's a five frame vertical panorama, which I'm surprised has stitched together effortlessly considering the conditions on the day and even more amazed there wasn't a single rain splash on any of the frames. Most definitely down to the brolly holding, camera shielding skills of Mrs R.

And before anyone asks... and I mean you Paul, the science bit for the viaduct is on the previous image.
