My Buddy, my Pal, my wonderful dog Grissom has peed on the side of the Rainbow Bridge and has left us. The vet suspects he had a stroke that affected his ability to balance and walk. He was greeted by one of the special golden sunsets we get from time to time. Grissom was closing in on twelve which is near the end of a Boxer dog's average lifespan.
It's whispered that soon, If we all call the tune
then the piper will lead us to reason
and a new day will dawn
for those who stand long
and the forests will echo with laughter

This is a Royal Air Force wall hanging my Dad sent home during the later stage of the war. He served in radar and rose to the rank of Sergeant before ending his service.

A journey down my memory roads wasn't why I joined Flickr so I'm going to park for awhile, collect my sense of direction and resume the trip before long. It's been fun. See you soon!

This was taken some years back when I first got my Tamron Macro lens. It was a cool day and the insects weren't overly active.

Taken at Sahara City after the sound and light performance at the pyramids at Giza, Egypt. I'm going to bring the curtain down after maybe a couple more memories.
