This was taken back in Feb of this year. I photographed her right from the truck window because getting out of the vehicle was not an option with this owl as she normally does not stick around for approaching vehicles if within a certain proximity to the road. I really would have loved to have been using a tripod as I didn't have anything like a bean bag thingy for keeping nice and steady shooting from the window. I really liked the setting in the snow and also the light for her. :)
