I had the awesome opportunity to help check a nesting box for Eastern Screech Owls. The box needs repair so we had to see if any owls were in there. I opened it and saw these two beauties sleeping. Got my cell phone out and took this shot. I then went to pick the closet one up to check for eggs. She woke up and scampered to the back exposing two eggs. I quickly closed the box back up. If you look to the back right, you can see a dead mouse in the corner. The box will be repaired after the little ones fledge. Hopefully we can get baby pics sticking out of the hole.

Restricted Access! Once again I had the privilege and honor to help document a nesting pair of Peregrine Falcon's to see if they had a chick to preserve their habitat for the future. If you look behind her you can see a brown egg. She moved just enough to expose it and went right back on it. We will be going back to see the chick to seal the deal. The other adult was flying around and I got flight shots of it. This is a super far shot and big crop.
