Kokiwanee Nature Preserve. It is my understanding that this area was at one time a girl scout camp. This chimney and a bit of the foundation are all that remains of a building that once stood here. The cold weather meant that I had the whole place to myself.

Hanging Rock is along the banks of the Wabash River. Standing on the top gave nice views of the surrounding farmlands and river. With a dusting of snow in patches on the ground, I was a bit anxious of slipping and becoming a part of the "Legend of Hanging Rock." (see www.visitwabashcounty.com/history-heritage/hanging-rock-2/ )

Sad to see the colors of autumn gone. With winter around the corner, the colors of the season are gray, brown and of course, white.
