This guy was BIG! I believe after doing a little research, that it's a Fishfly. Perhaps 4" long, he was up too high to allow me to put him into perspective.

Just below the Goshen Pond Dam spillway
Interesting that this bird was fishing just below the spillway across the river from where several people were trying to do the same thing, albeit by other means! It's also amazing how still these birds are when fishing. The exposure for this photograph was 2.5 seconds, and the bird didn't flinch!
