I think that it's kind of odd how few lakes have a mountain view in the park, it really is rare. Tatoosh had it all, amazing color and what a setting being surrounded by some of the most rugged peaks in the park. (actually it is just south of the park boundary so bring your dogs) :-)
This was taken from the false summit, which is JUST big enough for a tripod, the second most precarious spot I've ever been. :-)
